RE: The Video
On October 10, 2024, Transformational Living Wellness Lifestyle (TLWL, Inc.) partnered with Rita’s Helping Hand for a day dedicated to honoring and uplifting individuals experiencing homelessness. Our mission for World Homeless Day was clear: to spread hope, compassion, and healing within our community. With activities at Atlanta City Baptist Rescue Mission and Shady Grove Baptist Church, we embraced this spirit of community engagement, offering care and connection to those who need it most.
We kicked off the day at the Atlanta City Baptist Rescue Mission [Atlanta], distributing essential items and care packages to those in need. At the Atlanta City Baptist Rescue Mission [Atlanta], we met with the staff and learned that the residents had already left after enjoying a healthy breakfast. This didn’t stop us from leaving blessing gifts for their return.
Later, we connected with Target volunteers, Monica Jones and Angela Pittman, who assisted us at Shady Grove Baptist Church in [Marietta], Georgia, along with the hairstylist. We all joined forces to extend our outreach and support, ensuring that everyone we encountered felt seen, valued, and supported in a meaningful way.” Our TLWL team gathered to connect, laugh, and uplift each other. We captured the beauty of the day on video, so those unable to join in person could witness the impact of our community coming together.
