Our hearts perpetually express their anguish from the confines known as “Pain.” . . . Wellness Workshops have been meticulously crafted to redefine shattered states, to reconstruct, and to fortify the magnificence of undergoing a metamorphosis.  Together, we will gather the scattered fragments, brush off the dust, and embark on a fresh start – akin to the tale of Humpty Dumpty and other esteemed exemplars. . . . The structure of our program is designed to enhance emotional, social, and cognitive capabilities by instilling new aspirations, new sources of happiness, and new journeys.

Music Therapy

. . . This form of therapy is designed to nurture all aspects of an individual’s life, including physical, emotional, psychological, and behavioral domains. . . . Ultimately, this service/program serves as a mood enhancer, particularly in relation to one’s musical experiences. Some examples include but not limited to:

Music Relaxation – great for mindfulness and mediation.
Music Selection – used with disturbances in emotional and self-regulation.

The Healing Room (Upon secured location)

For healing, filled with HOPE and INSPIRATION

. . . This specific room is commonly known among many as a “place to plan a battle.” It is designed to be a serene and focused space. Its purpose is to provide comfort and security for our warriors who are experiencing brokenness, enabling them to confront their fears and address various issues. . . .

. . . Equipped with various amenities, including but not limited to seating or kneeling options, a variety of journals, a blackboard for reflection, candles for creating a soothing atmosphere, and a prayer wall, among other features. It is imperative that we all allocate a designated “time out space” in our lives to initiate the process of healing. . . .

The Space
─ Offers relaxation, comfortableness, quietness, and free of distractions. Suitable for a comfortable chair, plush rug, sitting, or kneeling.

Be cluttered-free
─ Doesn’t matter how small the area it will not over shallow the purpose.

Reiki Therapy

We are delighted to include Reiki Therapy as a component of our workshops. *Reiki is an energy healing technique in which a Reiki Master (who has undergone formal training in this healing art) uses gentle hand movements with the intention to guide the flow of healthy energy (what’s known in Reiki as life force energy) through the client’s body to reduce stress and promote healing. There’s evidence it can reduce daily stress and help with management of some chronic diseases. Wellness Support / Therapy

. . . This particular form of therapy encompasses all facets of one’s being, including the mental, physical, spiritual, creative, emotional, and interpersonal components. . . . The various types of therapy available offer diverse perspectives and approaches, which include but are not limited to:

Group sessions:  allows and brings wounded warriors together to express one’s feelings, and barriers, etc.

Strengthens a reinforcement in the process for self-sustainability beyond its program.

Hug Booth

“May I hug you today?” . . .This act of physical affection serves as a remedy for achieving tranquility and relaxation. Moreover, it has been observed to alleviate stress, regulate sleep hormones, and decrease blood pressure. The act of hugging contributes to the overall improvement of cardiovascular health. . . . This remarkable phenomenon can be attributed to the release of oxytocin (pronounce: aak-see-tow-sn), commonly referred to as the “cuddle hormone,” . . . the embrace should be neither excessively tight nor overly loose.

*Remember, the hug should neither be too tight nor too loose. Do not pull away quickly. Instead, let it go on for at least 30 seconds to maximally induce those feel-good hormones.

COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT
